Our Restaurant
A warm and welcoming location
Ristorante da Tondo was created by Chef Vito Gianluca Tondo, who is passionate aboout cooking and has many years of experience. He wants to share the flavours of his homeland, Salento with people living in Brianza.
The restaurant uses simple, fresh and high-quality ingredients to create innovative and unique flavours. It also offers daily fresh seafood and seasonal specialities.
The Restaurant can accommodate approximately 150 guests. It has two large rooms decorated to evoke the sea and the landscapes of wonderful Salento, as well as an outdoor area for summer season.
Chef Gianluca Tondo
"Cooking is a Love Affair"
Born in a small town in the province of Lecce, Gianluca Tondo, passionate about cooking since childhood, began his training alongside Chefs Giuseppe Tumulo and Rocco Zecca.
After an experience abroad, he returned to Italy to work as a Sous Chef in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, having the pleasure of collaborating with Chefs Giacinto Rossetti, Igles Corelli and Mauro Spadoni.
After his first restaurant, Villino a Tutto Tondo, opened in 2018 in Treviglio, in the province of Bergamo, Gianluca Tondo realized his dream by opening his restaurant Da Tondo in Mezzago, giving life to a piece of the history of catering in a unique location, which reflects his love for the sea, and in which he wants to exaltate in his cuisine the taste of simplicity.
